Was wondering can we start a donation drive going amongst the Malaysian Alumni while we await feedback from the Myanmese alumnies about the type of assistance they need? If they are unable to revert or otherwise, we can always pass the donation to the Red Cross or one of the other aid organisations who are already there.
Also if they need material items, eg tarps, food, medicine, etc. then maybe can check through the alumni network for assistance on logistics?

Editor comment: I read this article yesterday related to Juna's idea, but it is a concern that we have to think about when sending our donation. Sure makes it even harder to help out.
